Using neem soap for dogs is a very easy technique for not only getting rid of fleas, bugs, ticks, mites and inflammations in your dog’s skin, but to also increase its fur attractiveness and reduce hair loss.
And although you may think that using neem soap on your dog is quite intuitive, it’s not, and you really need to know what you are doing and to exactly know how to apply it the right way.
In fact, I’m going to show you some very easy techniques and ingredients you need to apply after you are done in order to increase your dog’s skin strength and health.
The first thing you need to know is that neem soap is excellent when it comes to your dog’s skin because it’s going to get rid of bugs and other parasites.
Although it’s not as efficient as some famous products you can buy from the drugstore like Bayer K9 Advantix, it’s not to be ignored since it’s very affordable and quite strong in my opinion.
Why is neem soap so beneficial for dogs?
Simply because it contains a powerful insecticide called Azadirachtin, which is going to get rid of all parasites including lice, biting flies, mosquitoes, flea eggs and larva and ticks.
How to use neem soap for dogs?
Before using neem soap on your dog, you need to first spray him with neem oil generously, I don’t mean that your dog needs to be soaking, what I mean is that you should apply at least some few tablespoons to your dog’s skin before using the soap.
It’s because neem soap is by nature very limited in strength, and cannot be compared to neem oil, and this is the reason why you need to use neem oil before, at least, this is what I do.
After you are done, avoid letting your dog out or near water and let him bath in neem oil for at least one hour, this is very important in order to get rid of flea eggs and larva and to also avoid making your house stink.
When you are done, make sure you use neem soap generously on your dog while using lots of water.
Rinse very well and don’t let your dog go out for at least three days, keep on doing this every day, while making sure you prevent him from going out as mentioned before.
